On the factory floor, the party assesses their situation. They trust Defendomax and Vagabot, but they want to know more about their past. They view the video once more, and this time, they see that at the time of the break-in, Vagabot has a crab claw for her left hand. The questions deepen.
The party turns their attention to Duke, who just returned from the bowels of the factory. At first, he is resistant to open up to his teammates. After some prodding, though, he shares his history with them. Duke reveals that his parents were killed in a mine explosion that was masterminded by Reaper, a criminal gang lord who has been extorting local groups for protection money. Duke told the group that he went looking for Reaper in the basement of the factory, only to find a toothy lowlife named Grinner. Grinner was deleting files on a database, clearing it out entirely. After overhearing Grinner take orders directly from Reaper, Duke fought Grinner and was victorious. Duke tells the party that Grinner teleported away, leaving Duke without any leads.
As the party saunters out of the dildobot factory, they come face-to-face with a half-man half-machine commando named Vargas. The testy Vargas questions the party about Reaper. Although the party doesn't know much, they try to ask Vargas what he knows. Frustrated, Vargas teleports away as well, leaving the group confused.
Tired of the dildobot factory and the many mysteries it has opened, the party makes its way back to Dusttown, eagerly anticipating their rewards.
